I love fall, it's my favorite season. We have been on the go and enjoying every minute before the snow starts to fly (we've already seen a little!). Fall for us started by going to see my sister to help with one of her craft shows. We also lucked out that the Zac Brown Band was playing there at the same time. We got a babysitter and we all got to go to the concert. The concert was great and the kids did good, minus a throwing up incident by Sawyer (imagine that?).
The craft show was great. After two days we are always exhausted. Mary and Sawyer run around constantly and have so much fun. The Ben and Jerry's guy had a bubble machine right next to our spot, yeah. (The baby in this picture isn't Garrett.)
They had kids face paining, here is my little spiderman! Nice work Uncle Spencer.
My exhausted Spiderman. In the middle of the chaos they both fell asleep, that's tired. Sawyer's blanket still has red paint that I can't get washed off!
Garrett enjoyed all the food :) He can put some serious food away and it's usually gone in a matter of seconds. Sawyer will have melted ice cream everywhere and Garrett will look like he never even had one.
When we got home we had a couple of weeks of incredible weather! We took the boys up the river and went fishing for a day. The leaves were just starting to change and it was so pretty.
This is what we have been doing the most of lately, WRESTLING. I can't tell you how many times in the last few weeks Kyle and I have told Sawyer to stop tackling his brother. Then we turn around and Garrett is trying to take Sawyer down. :)
I took the boys on a hike with some other moms and their kids. It was such a nice day and all the kids did so well! Poor Sawyer was pretty tired by the time we got done but he did so great. I let Garrett out of the backpack during our picnic and he was having a blast running down the trail. The kid is going to give me many heart attacks as he gets older.
Sawyer loves chocolate milk in the morning. For a while I was getting away with making Sawyer his chocolate milk and giving Garrett plain milk, not anymore. He will stand and scream at the fridge until he gets his chocolate milk too. And now he takes it and sits on the couch with his brother and of course Molly can't be left out.
The biggest news of this fall, Sawyer started SCHOOL!! He is such a boy about it too. He doesn't like to give me any details but I'm slowly getting the info out of him. So far he seems like he likes it. We have snack time this week, for some reason that seems like a big deal to me. I'm so proud of him and I can't believe how fast he is growing up!
Hopefully we will get a few more warm weekends before it turns cold for the next 8 months :) We are looking forward to Halloween, I had to hide Sawyer's costume so he doesn't wear it out before the big day!
