The excitement!

The excitement of Halloween is almost too much for the 3 year old in our house! I feel like Halloween isn't just one day in our house, it has become a week long event. Sawyer had a party at Playschool and got to wear his Spiderman costume, he felt so tough :) Then we went to Spook night at the Y and he got to wear his costume again, he wore it so he could be brave when he saw the scary stuff. Now we are just waiting for the actual day to come. I've already broke in to the candy so we are going to be on a major sugar high by tomorrow night! We haven't been up to a whole lot lately. Just enjoying the fall and trying to get out of the house before the real cold sets in.

Kyle and I had a couple of days to ourselves a few weeks ago and we borrowed our neighbors raft! It was the first time I've been floating on the river, I'm much more of a wading fisherman but I think I could get used to the boat. It was such a beautiful day, nothing beats the blue of a Montana sky!
Me and my guide!
Just outside of town there are tons of deer, TONS! Kyle was out of town and the boys and I were killing time before bedtime so we headed out of town to go deer "hunting".
Sawyer shoots his pop gun out the window of the car and all the deer look up and then start running. I know it's sort of mean but it makes my boys giggle like crazy. The deer should be happy it isn't a real gun?
After all the deer hunting Garrett was exhausted. He crawled up on the couch next to Sawyer and then laid down in his lap. Doesn't look very comfortable but Sawyer was pretty happy about it. He just wants Garrett to sit still with him and cuddle.
We went over to Bozeman to the pumpkin patch again this year. We were really lucky to have Grandpa O. come up and join us for the weekend too!!
The chickens were a big hit. Garrett was laughing and jumping at them, Sawyer kept his distance because the little girl next to him kept saying how mean they were :)
Garrett also really loved the hay bales. The kid was launching himself off of them. I couldn't believe Kyle was letting him do this but no bones were broken. He kept jumping off then running to Grandpa for a hug and then back to jump again. He was exhausted.
We road on the hay wagon and Sawyer got to drive the tractor again. It's one of the few times I've ever seen him not bashful. Just like last year when they ask who wants to drive he throws his arm in the air and goes with the adult to drive the tractor, it's just amazing since normally he is hiding behind my legs anytime someone says hi.

Grandpa and I got the last seat on the wagon! Garrett was pretty close to falling asleep on the ride.
These two are like two peas in a pod. It cracks me up.
No trip to Bozeman is complete without a trip to Home Depot, the boys love the race car carts!
It was so nice to have an additional book reader in the house!
I got the boys dressed the other morning and then Sawyer was so excited that they matched. I didn't even know it, we just happen to have a lot of stripped shirts :) Sawyer really wanted a picture with his little brother and their matching shirts.
I love this picture. Garrett has been teething and he is super crabby in the afternoon. I made an orange julius for a snack and to help Garrett's teeth. Sawyer was in hog heaven. He was getting mad eating it with a spoon so I told him to just drink it out of the cup. Who knew all the ice would come down at once? Lucky for me I had my camera next the paper towels!!! I was laughing, he was crying and Garrett was just staring at us :)
Here is a video of Sawyer and Molly playing. We haven't bought Molly a new toy in a really long time, she usually destroys it or the neighbor dogs jump the fence and steal it. But I gave in and bought her a new toy and I'm not sure who liked it more, Molly or Sawyer? I love how Garrett could care less what everyone else is up to.

Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
