Christmas Spirit

This weekend was full of fun Christmas activities!  We started out Friday night with the x-mas stroll downtown, there was yummy hot cider and lots of people out and about.  We walked down there so we had to bundle Sawyer up!  He was really happy to get home and hang out in his long johns!  We also got a good picture of Sawyer's teeth, sorry the eyes are closed!  Then on Saturday morning we went and ate breakfast with Santa.  Sawyer sat on his lap and didn't cry like I thought he would!  That night we had some friends over for dinner and Sawyer got to hang out with other kids, he loves other babies.  His buddy Cohen kept showing him what was up, someday he will get him back :)  Today we started a new family tradition, we went and cut our own x-mas tree!  It was really fun and luckily the weather was pretty nice.  It took a while to find the perfect tree but we found one!  The tree turned out to be bigger than we thought, it looked so small next to all the giant trees!  We had to cut a lot off the tree but now it is a cute tree that makes me smile every time I look at it.  Sawyer is fascinated by the lights and he keeps talking to the tree!  If it would only snow now the season would be complete!

I am kind of jealous of Sawyer's sweet snow suit!

Sawyer and I have a lot in common...we both sit in front of the christmas tree in our diapers!

We had the same problem with the first tree we cut down. It was huge when we got it in the house!
