Grrrr. So it's been a long while since I've written anything but in our defense we have been a little busy with this little gal!

We lost our minds and got a new puppy in October. This is little miss Haddie. I swear it was like we had a third child. We are just barely able to sleep through the night and she is pretty well potty trained. She was starting to really test my patience but we got a dog training lesson and she is a whole new dog. I'm actually starting to like the little trouble maker :)
A lot has happened in the last couple of months. The boys are still enjoying school and they are doing really well. We had our first parent teacher conference for Sawyer and he passed with flying colors. Garrett is a man about town these days, he has so many kids saying hi to him from school that I don't even know. He also seems to be quite the ladies man too! We are so lucky that both boys have such awesome teachers.
Sawyer finished up flag football and is still obsessed with football. He is outside practicing his moves everyday and he has a neighbor friend who is equally obsessed. Luckily both Sawyer and the neighbor kid are kind of whimpy so at least they don't hurt each other tackling :) Here are some pics of the last couple of months.
We snuck out of the house one afternoon and hiked up to the W. The kids did awesome and never complained the whole time! It's so great to have them hike on their own and not have to carry them.
We threw rocks down the "mountain" for a long time and enjoyed the sunshine. The view from up there is so pretty.
Kyle got his window knocked out coming home from duck hunting. This happened during the government furlough, poor guy was pretty bored doing chores around the house and look what happened when he finally got out!Grandma O. came to visit for a few days and we took her over to Bozeman for the pumpkin patch. We had fun on the hay ride and taking pictures with the signs.
Garrett was so funny trying to pick up the big pumpkins, he was so excited (as usual).
So we took pictures with a lot of the signs and I said, "Hey Garrett go stand by the unicorn." Then I turned around for a second and the kid was RIDING the unicorn!
Of course Sawyer thought that he needed a turn.....
Kyle and his big pumpkins (??)
I made Kyle pose with me for a picture, there aren't many of just the two of us. I'm one lucky gal!
This is Sawyer the day after we brought Haddie home. She was and still is a little hand biter. He was trying so hard to play with her.
The boys did great carving pumpkins this year. They even pulled their own "guts" out.
For Halloween they were Buzz Lightyear and a rodeo clown.
This is part of the Halloween crew. We had 15 kids with us trick or treating this year! It was mass chaos but a lot of fun too.
The little trouble maker.
Sawyer had Heritage Days at school. They had all sorts of fun things set up with the kids. I learned to square dance with his class! He was feeling pretty cool with his cowboy outfit and having a college kid helping him rope!
This picture is blurry but he was so happy. The frog dog....One of the few moments where she wasn't getting into something.
This fall has had some beautiful weather. Garrett and I had a great day eating and relaxing up on the playset.
We tried to get a good picture for our Christmas cards but when we got out to where we were going Haddie pooped all over the back of the car and it was FREEZING. We lasted a whole 10 minutes before loading up and heading home.
This was what all the pictures I managed to get looked like...
Both boys had a Thanksgiving party. Sawyers was a pie party with all the parents. It was pretty fun to see him with all the other kids. Garrett's was a Thanksgiving feast at preschool. He was enjoying himself so much!
Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma O's for Thanksgiving. It was pretty quiet this year with just us and Uncle David. We had a huge feast and the boys even helped Grandma clean out the turkey, eeew.
Sawyer had a big Thanksgiving, he lost his first tooth!! He took it like a man too. I still cannot believe he asked grandpa to pull it and just stood there! He wanted the tooth fairy to come pretty bad, she brought him a $2 bill and some change. That brings us to today! We went and got our Christmas tree today. We had some good friends call us up to go with them and the kids had so much fun wrestling in the snow. Even Haddie got in on the action.
This is the beauty we found! They all look so little in the forest and so BIG in our living room. Kyle was an excellent tree chopper.
The crew hiding in the tree.
