Vacation!

We have been on vacation for the last few days!!  We met Grandpa and Grandma T. in Rapid City, SD for a weekend of fun!  We saw so many cool things, I will add captions later (I'm a little tired after the 11 hour trek home today)!

Ok we have had a day to recover!  I thought I should mention that we had major toddler throw up the last half hour of the trip, just added a little excitement to keep us awake!

When we got to Rapid City we had lunch in a cute diner, Grandpa and Grandma were very happy to see Sawyer!

The entrance into Mt. Rushmore!  This was the highlight of the trip for me!  It was as big as I thought it as going to be, very cool!


We got to ride the 1880's train, Sawyer was pretty excited!  He clapped for the all aboard guy and he pumped his arm for the train "toot"!


We went to this neat place called Storybook Island, they have life sized displays of all the storybook characters!  I felt like a kid again, I would highly recommend this place for kids, so much fun!  Here is Sawyer riding Black Beauty!  Must be the Montana way to only ride with one hand!

In Keystone we walked around and got ice cream, this is Sawyer giving Grandma a giant ice cream kiss!
It was a short few days but we sure had fun!  It's always hard to say bye!
We have a very busy few weeks coming up!
