Sawyer's mud bath

First hike, Dad carried going up and mom got to carry going down, 

it is much harder going down!

What a weekend we had?!  Yesterday Kyle helped the neighbor tear down the old fence between us and put up the posts for a new one.  It's not done yet but it already looks better and they got to do some manly bonding.  I pretty much watched and waited for Sawyer to wake up from a nap, exciting stuff.  Then we had the crew from Kyle's work over for ribs and beans.  If you want to see something amazing, invite four bachelors over for dinner and see how much they eat!  I hardly ate a thing because I was just watching.  

Today we went for our first hike with Sawyer.  He fit in the backpack and stayed awake most the way.  We didn't go very far because we are very out of shape and the people coming down said there was a bull moose a little ways up the trail.  I really didn't want to find out what Molly would do if she ran into a moose!  We learned an important lesson today.  Don't set Sawyer's carseat on the ground when Molly is playing in water and mud.  She shook mud all over him, it was pretty funny!  

We had a great weekend and everyone is very tired tonight, time to rest up before the week starts again!
